Before you go
- Separate metals before you arrive: copper, brass, aluminum and stainless pay more when clean and sorted.
- Bring a government photo ID. Most states require it for every scrap sale, and some pay by check for certain items.
- Car bodies usually need a title or a state junk certificate.
- Prices follow the metals market and change daily, so call for today's price.
