About Salvage Yard Map
Salvage Yard Map helps you find used auto parts and sell junk cars and scrap metal by listing every salvage, junk and scrap yard we can confirm in the U.S., with the services each yard says it offers.
Listings start from Overture Maps, an open map dataset published by a foundation that includes Amazon, Meta, Microsoft and TomTom. We keep places categorized as junkyards plus auto parts, towing and recycling businesses whose names show they are salvage or scrap yards, remove junk removal and car-buying services that are not yards, and merge duplicates.
We then visited each yard's own homepage once to record what it says it does: self-service, full-service, buying junk cars, free towing, online inventory and scrap metal. We record facts only and never copy text or photos.
Yards do not pay to be listed. Yard owners can claim their listing for free to correct details and add hours, prices and a link to their inventory.
